On January 24th, an exciting master class on ultrasound diagnostics took place at the Department of Pediatrics for the students of the department’s research club. During this unique event, students had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and skills in the field of ultrasound diagnostics under the guidance of experienced physician Olexander Smolovyi from the Children’s Clinical Hospital of Saint Zinaida.
The doctor provided a detailed explanation of the examination technique, BLUE and FAST protocols, and peculiarities of interpreting results. Subsequently, students were allowed to independently perform ultrasound diagnostics on other participants, thereby gaining practical experience and confidence in their abilities.
The master class impressed students not only with its educational value but also with the opportunity to acquire practical skills under the guidance of a highly qualified professional. The event contributes to the further development of the student research club and expands their understanding of modern diagnostic methods.
The Department of Pediatrics aims to share cutting-edge knowledge and encourage students to actively participate in the learning process.
