On April 23, another meeting of the scientific student club of the Pediatrics Department took place, titled “In-depth Analysis of ECG in Pediatrics: Challenges and Opportunities”. The speakers were students of the group MSc.m-804, Maria Lobatiuk and Svitlana Denysenko. Students delved into the world of cardiac electrophysiology and learned the basics of ECG interpretation in children.
During the meeting, the fundamental principles of ECG, changes on ECG indicating pathological conditions of the heart in children were discussed. Participants actively engaged in discussions and posed questions regarding the interpretation and clinical significance of various ECG deviations.
Of particular interest was the opportunity for students to independently practice conducting ECG. With the help of modern equipment and under the guidance of instructors, students gained valuable experience in performing ECG and interpreting the obtained results.
